Aggregation

Getting the news what you want, telling people what u know,rss,xml,atom,web 2.0---you are social networking .
Orkut ,myspace,facebook etc are more into people networking .Another flavor of social networking is the community news aggregation sites like digg where one can find people posting news,views and what not. There are quite a few 'digg' like sites which have content with indian flavor .some of the them are
Newzly,NewsCola ,ForumsOfIndia ,IndianPad ,IndiaMarks ,PutVote , IndianBytes ,Humsurfer

Some of these are good but i kinda found lotta masala news in most of em..

Chennai 600028 , one of the better movies in recent times that was well received.Simple day to day incidents with cricket as theme was put together as a movie and it was nice.Humour in the movie was too good .check out this scene where the heroes in the movie lose a game of cricket to a bunch of skool kids..

Online Textbooks in TN -way to go

As i was bloghopping I landed here which led me here.

This is a very welcome and interesting initiative from the Tamilnadu education board to have the soft copy of all the textbooks for the state syllabus online.Questions may be raised about internet access ,net savviness etc .. thats all there .But this move is definitely to be appreciated.

Nice remix

Everyone knows that Sachin blew the wind out of the aussies especially Shane warne during his peak over the last decade or so. And the aussie sledging literally bombed with Sachin and Warnie admits that.

"We tried to go after Sachin in the early '90s and he's reeled off a hundred just about every game he played, so we thought OK, let's have a beer with him and say, 'you're a great bloke, Sachin', and don't say anything to him on the field," Warne said.

Warne was commenting about the ongoing word wars between the Men in blue and Aussies and hes looking forward to our new character - Sreesanth..oh yeah we too are ...:)

4 Indian companies in the fortune top 20 companies for global leaders (2007) list.Thats a refreshing news to read .Heading the Indian contingent is Hindustan Unilever -4, Infosys -10,ICICI Bank 19 and Wipro -20.
This goes to show the trend of Indian companies going global which is the way to go.
