Annamalai one of the top rated soaps in SUN TV the number 1 Tamil satellite channel came to a close yesterday.Produced by the Radaan Networks run by Actress Radhika ,who was the main cast of the serial enjoyed enviable TRP ratings among Tamil channels.The same company produces a new serial Selvi,which will take the slot from the next week.

A380'superjumbo' jet
he world's largest passenger plane, the Airbus A380, has been unveiled in an elaborate ceremony in France.
The twin-deck aircraft can carry about 555 people - more than the Boeing 747 jumbo built by Airbus' main competitor.

A Romanian couple decided to prove how much they hate their own child by naming him "Yahoo". Reuters reports that a three-day old bully has already given him an "Indian burn".
Obviously that bit about the bully is just my joke, although you can bet it will be true in about 6-10 years. The Romanian couple has decided to name their son after a freakin' search engine because they met over the Internet.
Daily Libertatea said on Thursday Cornelia and Nonu Dragoman, both from Transylvania, met and decided they were meant for each other following a three-month relationship over the net.

Happy Pongal !!!

Last year ended with the tsunami tragedy and the New year was'nt all that bright.
Lets Hope that Pongal brings new lease of joy and prosperity in all our lives.
Pongal is the important festival in the Tamil calendar ,the harvest festival and a thanksgiving day for the Sun god.
Sankaranthi is celebrated on the same day all over north and west india .
In the Tamil movie front a slew of movies release tomorrow .The ones to look for include vijay's Thirupaachi ,sarath kumar 's Ayya and Dhanush's Devadhayai kandaen.
Hope Kollywood has lot to cheer about the pongal releases.
