Do you like fire drills ?

well, i like it. On a warm afternoon day, I was getting bored at work and was wondering what i can do and suddenly this fire alarm started ringing and everyone started moving out of their seats to take the steps down outside the office building. I was like - wow thats kewl..Along with the crowd slowly walked down the stairs ( just wonder how people are gonna walk when there is real fire).Outside it was kinda bad as the sun was belting down but I still managed a phone call to my friend as i stood under a tree.It was definitely relaxing.
The speed at which people walk during a fire drill was so slow that one can compare to the crowd moving out of a cinema theatre after a good relaxing movie . Me n friends even used to comment that at the ground there might be some tv reporter standing with a mike asking first hand comments from the audience :P.There was even an instance when we just slipped out of office during a fire drill one late afternoon for a movie . :)

Think simple

Think simple is one thing i keep telling myself and am sure most of us would have said it to ourselves at some point of time.
Today I wanted to look at the time and so i searched for my mobile which wasn't to be found and then looked around for my computer only to think that i had to reboot it and finally saw it in my good old watch on the shelf. Yeah if i had just looked at the watch to start with it would have been very simple..

Enna Koduma Pritam..

atta copy, E adichan copy, dippi,lift,copycat.... - idhuvum sollalam idhuku melayum sollalam.. Some youtube digging about Hindi Music director pritam revealed that he has not scored a single song by himself. What the fuck ... even the ordinary songs of him are all copied. He hasnt left any geography untouched , lifted songs from china, indonesia, afghan and all over the world and few from older Hindi and Bangla albums.some of the songs i really loved (almost all ...:P) are all plagiarised.
basically namma Deva, Sirpi ellarayum thooki saaptu yeppam vittutan nu dhan sollanum....
This video here is an example.check out related videos as well.

Moocha Paisa !

Oh yeah Pee to get paid is a scheme launched in Tamilnadu which seems to have improved the sanitation standards in rural areas and as well as helped people make some money too.

It pays to use a toilet in southern India, as residents are earning close to a dollar a month by using public urinals, a scheme launched by authorities to promote hygiene and research in rural areas.

Dozens of people are queuing up to use toilets in Musiri, a remote town in Tamil Nadu state, where authorities have succeeded in keeping street corners clean with the new scheme, The Times of India newspaper said on Sunday.

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na

Colorful, funny, beautiful, simple etc are the tags I will associate with this movie. This is one of those 'like'able non masala-ic at the same time melodramatic (sort of)movie with loads of comedy.I watched this movie for AR Rahman and Genelia and no expectations whatsoever and yeah I am already addicted to the songs in the movie.Enough justice has been done to ARR's music in picturizing the songs well and rerecording wherever it appears is superb.yes most of the movie is kinda without the background music as in scenes with dialogues between various characters.
Genelia, boy hasnt she been impressive in every movie she does from boys to santosh subramaniam(shes a hit in telugu as well) and shes grows in this movie as well.
The scene in which she talks to the hero over phone after the hero goes on his first date speaks for her performance. She is expressive.yes she is.
The Hero Imran Khan (Aamir Khan's nephew) scores well in his debut movie with a wonderful performance. He has excellent screen presence and emotes really well for a debutant.Another star in the making.
The Gang of friends and the gal whos listens to this story have all done their part well with "Roltu"s comedy and Jiggy's gujju ishtyle( sooosanthh) standing out.
All credits to the director for his screenplay and special mention for the cinematography.
barring certain scenes at the end (funny but illogical) all in all its a great movie to watch.go enjoy .
kabhi kabhi aditi zindagi......

p.s
story is in a way similar to a tamil film called 'piriyadha varam vendum'...
